India and its Population..... an overview

At present, India is the second country with the largest population in the world right after China, in the near future this record too is expected to be broken by India. So, very soon this country is going to break all the records of the world by being the highest populated country. In relation to the size of the country, India population is quite high and that is why, India has not yet been able to come out the tag of being a Third World Country.

Increasing Population! Hold It Right There

Do you sometimes get worried thinking about the rising population of the world? The way in which the population of the world is increasing, one day it will create some really big and difficult situations for all of us. In fact, now only you might have seen the affects and the drawbacks of the world being highly populated. Though in certain countries the population is still low but in certain countries like that of China, India and USA, this has been a burning issue.

Population statistics says that the world population has kept on increasing only. In 1750, the world population was 791 millions and in 2008 it has recorded a population of 6,707 millions. The predicted statistics shows that in 2050 it will reach 8,909 millions. So, day by day problems are getting bigger only and all those primary steps of population control are proving to be unsuccessful. Birth control is the main key to this problem and if this grip is hold tight then only one can hope to get rid of this increasing population problem.

USA too has not been able to come out of this nightmare. For finding how fast USA is giving birth to new lives you can throw a look at the US population clock. In every second, 1 to 4 births are taking place and that is really dangerous. Currently, USA is having over 300 million people. The Census counted in the year 2000 showed a U.S.A. population of 281,421,906 and it is nine years after that this counting has reached about 306 millions. Certain states of the US are found to be very highly populated in the last few years and one good example of that is Alaska. This state is just one-fifth the size of the US but the Alaska population alone was 700,000 in the year 2005.

However, speaking about the world population will remain incomplete if the population of India is not being mentioned in this context. So, the efforts of population control should be from the root. At first city population will have to be controlled if the country and then the world need to be saved from the population issue.
